With a heart filled with gratitude and a spirit brimming with enthusiasm, I am pleased to state the resounding success of our recent District Conference. As the District Governor of Rotary International District 3131, it is both an honor and a privilege to witness the transformative impact of our collective efforts. As we bask in the afterglow of this remarkable event, I am proud of the profound difference we could make and create hope in the community around us. The memories we have created and the friendships we have forged will serve as the foundation for our continued journey towards a brighter future for all.
Reflecting on my journey as District Governor, my primary focus has always been about instilling in each member the values of service above self, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inspiring a commitment to making a positive impact in our communities and beyond. One of the hallmarks of last few months has been our collective endeavor to undertake bigger, better and bolder projects. Together, we have dared to dream beyond the ordinary, pushing the boundaries of what we thought possible. Here below is our continuing journey as I thought to be and had yet something more which I never thought.
मैने जो सोचा वैसा ही हुआ: 100% Giving District in the least time & it happened for the first time in the history of RID 3131, 1000 Pediatric Surgeries with 10 Global Grants & CSR Grants, Complete focus on organic & healthy growth of members, as we stand number one in Zone 7, Happy Aanganwadis running successfully, Borewells Recharge Tie-up with Government of Maharashtra for 1000 borewells (The work will start from February), Car Rally, Revival of CSR awards, Residential RYLA!
मैने जो सोचा था नहीं हो पायेगा वो भी हो गया: Monthly Record breaking APF, No. 3 in Total Giving in the country, No. 1 in Annual Fund (APF) in Zone 4, 5, 6, 7 received a good amount of DDF from foreign districts, Youth Seminar as a part of Rotaract Conference, First ever Global Grant from Rotaract Club, probably first across the world!
मैने जो कभी भी सोचा ही नहीं था फिर भी वो भी हो गया: Received help & support from unknown quarters like car rally, presence of Wing Commander Mr. Rakesh Sharma Perfect fit for theme Confluence, 85 new Interact Clubs, Biggest synergy project of 30 clubs building thousands of vanrai bandhare, Green Society Project, received sponsorship Support & appreciation by IGBC & PCMC Commissioners.
As a part of our ongoing efforts to serve communities in need, Rotary Districts 3131 and 3132, in collaboration with host District 3070, are organizing a Medical Mission to Rajouri and Ponch in Jammu & Kashmir (Union Territory). This noble initiative is scheduled to take place from February 24th to March 4th, aiming to provide essential medical services to needy in the region. We are reaching out to Rotarian doctors and medical practitioners who are willing to dedicate their time and expertise on a voluntary basis during this period.
This journey has been marked by a remarkable series of successes, largely due to the unwavering support and dedication of Rotarians like you. It is the collective spirit of collaboration and commitment to our shared goals has helped us to march forward, enabling us to create hope in the lives of those we serve. I am fortunate enough for the way things have consistently fallen into place whenever we have set out to achieve something during my tenure as District Governor. I am confident that with the continued support and dedication of each and every Rotarian, we will not only meet but exceed our goals, but will leave a lasting legacy of service and impact in our communities and beyond.
