Inauguration of the Nephro ICU at the Dialysis Center at Bopodi, Pune, slated to serve underprivileged patients from PAN Maharashtra 
Dialysis Center set up by Rotary Club of Poona Downtown in collaboration with PMC, Duroshox Pvt Ltd, RSB Foundation, Darshana Industries and private donors at Draupadabai Murlidhar, Khedekar Hospital, Bopodi, now in its 3rd year has recently been registered under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jai Arogya Yojana. This expands the Centre’s service to deserving patients from all over Maharashtra. The 10-bed state-of-the-art Centre now has a Nephro ICU and is run by CG Nephrocare. Over time the number of patients using the facility increased and 7500 dialysis procedures have been performed to date on Pune residents.
  
The Nephro ICU cubicle, an essential component for the Centre’s MJPjAY status, was recently inaugurated in the presence of individuals from donor companies Duroshox Ltd and Darshana industries, PMC, Mr Parshuram Wadekar (RPI), Mrs Sunita Wadekar, Rotarians and staff.
With this milestone the Center will run in two shifts with monthly dialysis procedures going up to 300-400 per month.
