District 3131 Sports committee aims to cover both indoor and outdoor sports, and we look forward to achieving this goal. Cricket, volleyball, swimming, and many other outdoor sports, as well as indoor games like carrom, chess, badminton, and many more every year. Therefore, the district committee decided to hold a Cricket Winter Cup this year.

District 3131 Sports Committee 2024-25 organized the Rotary Winter Cricket Cup for District 3131 for sports enthusiasts. More than eighty participants were involved in the Cricket Winter Cup, with six teams traveling across the district to play the day and night matches. The raised funds were donated to a PMC school for carrying out renovation works in its community center for less fortune students who do not have proper basic resources.

Inter-district tournaments are being held all over the country. One of these had the distinguishing feature of having the 40+ age group men's team participate in Amritsar in April, while the 50+ senior men's team played in the Bengaluru Rotary Champions League. Both teams delivered commendable performances to win the IFCR Platinum Cup in their respective tournaments.

Our district 3131cricket team will be going to Kumbkonam on 12 June 2025 and expand themselves and their potential to way beyond anyone's expectations and will keep playing from their hearts whether they lose or win but will always have experience and memories to share. By this, we try to meet new people and share different experiences by participating in inter-district tournaments.

Individual clubs of the district also took up the task of organizing different tournaments where all the processes were overseen by them to conduct a fulfilling environment for all the sports enthusiasts and had total backing and support from the District 3131 Sports Committee. These tournaments welcomed all the Rotarians, Anns and Anntes warm-heartedly, which might have motivated a few to take a step towards leading a healthier and more physically active lifestyle.
