Stewardship means responsible management and oversight of:
- Resources
- Relationships
- Activities
Especially in relation to the Grants. Stewardship ensures long-term sustainability and impact of club projects.
Stewardship involves:
- Ethical Governance and Accountability
- Financial Discipline – proper record keeping and reporting
- Proper use of Donations, Grants, funds, & assets of the club/ trust
To educate the club Presidents and Rotarians in this important matter, The District Stewardship Committee has already circulated:
- PPTs Showing stewardship responsibilities
- PPTs Showing Global Grant and CSR Grant closure procedures
- Month wise calendar of duties to be done in each month In English as well as Marathi
Through this article I urge all Presidents to refer to the above items circulated to you, so that the club will complete its important stewardship obligations in time.
