Blood Donation Drive on Occasion of Baisakhi
On April 13th, Guru Nanak Medical Foundation (GNMF) organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Poona and IWC Downtown. 55 units of blood was collected from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Out of the 90 volunteers, only 64 were deemed medically eligible to donate blood, with low haemoglobin levels being a primary reason for rejection. Three blood banks participated in the event. One unit of blood can help three patients, highlighting the significance of such campaigns.
