Installation of Water Filter Plant at Village Dapodi , Velhe taluka Raigadh

Rotary Club of Pune Sahawas installed a Water Filter plant on March 29, 2026  to resource filer water from the river at village Dapodi . The river has water which is unpalatable and is also far from the village locals. The village sarpanch had requested for  installation of a Water Filter Plant to provide palatable water in the harsh terrain.
(The village children have suffered from various illnesses last year due to impure water).

The filter plant is able to filter the water , and has sufficient storage for the village of 32 odd families.

Thanks to our senior members always committed to the just cause of the rural areas , Rtn.MB Chitte ( Club Facilitator) and CSR partner  One Network , and President Elect Rtn.Sameer Kulkarni for facilitating the equipment.

A very effective and efficient effort for rural  empowerment.
