Dear Fellow Rotarians,
Warm greetings to you all!
We began the month of February with a grand celebration of Rotary spirit at our District Conference “Ruturang.” It was truly an inspiring experience to meet and listen to several distinguished personalities who, in their own ways, have lived the Rotary motto of Service Above Self. Their journeys reminded us that meaningful service has the power to transform communities and inspire generations.
I take this opportunity to sincerely thank the many members of our Rotary District 3131 family who personally reached out to me, First Lady Tanuuja, and my club members to appreciate the conference. Your kind words and encouragement mean a lot to us.
A special word of gratitude goes to my RC Poona West family for their tireless efforts, unwavering support to Tanuuja and me, and their outstanding teamwork in making Ruturang a memorable and grand success. It was truly a collective effort of dedication, fellowship, and Rotary passion.
Even as we were coming out of the conference excitement, the Saurashtra Rally was flagged off—and what a fantastic rally it turned out to be! With a superb route, excellent roads, and wonderful arrangements at every destination, the rally became an unforgettable experience. The overwhelming response was evident as two batches with a total of 180 participants were filled within just two weeks. Our Rally Get-Together is planned on 16th March, and I look forward to hearing and sharing the wonderful experiences of this journey.
March in Rotary is dedicated to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). As the summer season approaches, the importance of water conservation and sanitation becomes even more critical. Let us collectively work towards completing our water-related projects such as borewell recharge, check dams, and repairs of school toilets, ensuring that our efforts bring sustainable change to the communities we serve.
At the same time, I urge all clubs and Rotarians to continue supporting The Rotary Foundation, which remains the backbone of our service efforts worldwide. Your generous contributions to the Annual Fund, Endowment Fund, and the PolioPlus program empower Rotary to undertake impactful global and local projects. Let us reaffirm our commitment to building a stronger Foundation and ensuring that Rotary continues to serve humanity with greater reach and impact.
Together, let us continue to create lasting change through our dedication to service.
