Highlights and Review of District Events -Installation Ceremony Back

Installation Ceremony of District 3131, DG Rtn. Santosh Marathe...*

The Installation ceremony in Rotary Club is an important event wherein batons are passed on from one to another ensuring continuity, momentum in the true spirit of *साथी हाथ बढ़ाना...*.

On 6th July, आषाडी एकादशी दिवस, District 3131 new DG Rtn. Santosh Marathe took over from IDG Rtn. Shital Shah in a spectacular ceremony at Symbiosis Skill & Vocational University, Pune. The event was hosted by RCP West, Our DG's parent club.

It's very important and immensely useful for all Rotary members to attend District level seminars, workshops, programs, conferences at least once a year. It will surely help them understand and appreciate the Rotary Culture & Curriculum. *Most importantly, if you have to master any language, you have to study its grammar in its true sense. Where is it taught..? Of course, in District level programs*.

The year 24-25, gone by, has been an extremely successful & monumental year under IDG Rtn. Shital Shah in every parameter that matters in Rotary Parlour. DG Rtn. Santosh Marathe will surely take District 3131 to greater heights as he is a well known veteran in the area of Global Grant/CSR/Foundation. Our Best wishes to him.

RI Director, Rtn. K P Nagesh was the Chief Guest. He emphasised in his keynote address the importance of membership retention and qualitative membership growth inspiring the younger generation to join ROTARY. He suggested the formula that every Club has to launch 2 Rotaract and 3 Interact Clubs every year. His concluding remark was - *Let us lead with purpose, serve with passion inspiring others around us to do the same*.

District 3131's celebrated anchor Dr. Amod Divekar in his amiable poetic style took the audience on a pleasure ride with his verve and punch. President of RCP West, Mr. Santosh Chiplunkar highlighted the performance of his host Club while their PE Mr. Pavandeep Kohali did the thanks giving.
