The Rotary Club of Pradhikaran Pune has successfully transformed birthday celebrations into a meaningful movement for environmental conservation. In alignment with the District Thrust Area of Environment, the club’s “Birthday Tree Plantation” initiative has flourished throughout this Rotary year. Through this initiative, the club has ensured that personal celebrations contribute directly to a greener and more sustainable future.
This activity was carried out in collaboration with SankalpTaru Foundation under its ecosystem restoration program.
The QR code provided contains the plantation location details, along with the photograph and name of the individual to whom the tree has been dedicated. It also highlights how the initiative contributes to generating a sustainable source of income.
