Journey of Pride: Reflections from the President’s Desk, RC Pune Heritage 

I became President not by choice, but because a few senior Rotarians believed in me. Today, nearing the end of my tenure, I can say with conviction that it was the experience of a lifetime. I enjoyed every moment of my tenure.

The wholehearted support, love and trust of our Club members made this role memorable and exciting. Together we set new benchmarks in Membership, Foundation, CSR contributions, Fundraising, and Service Projects. Hosting two Club Car Rallies in a single year was a unique feat. And we aren’t done yet — service projects worth nearly ₹1 crore are planned for this final month.

I’m proud that RC Pune Heritage is now at the first position in the District CPI ranking.

We inducted 12 energetic members, added a new RCC and an Interact School, and expanded our impact through signature initiatives in healthcare, education, community, and environment, worth about ₹4 Cr. Events like the Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, Peace Car Rally, and Vishwa Marathi Ekankika took our Club’s name across Maharashtra and beyond. Beyond projects, we built life long friendships.That is the spirit of Rotary.

As I pass the baton, I thank all the members for their trust, laughter, and commitment.  Leading this vibrant Club has been the privilege of my life.
