District Grant Management Seminar

It was an immense pleasure to host the District Grant Management Seminar on 1st June 2025, which brought together Rotary members, College of Governors (COGs), and domain experts from District 3131 to exchange knowledge and best practices.

As the host club, Rotary Club of Pune Heritage was honored to facilitate this impactful learning event that truly showcased Rotary’s commitment to service and community development through effective grant management.

We are grateful to DGE Rtn. Santosh Marathe for entrusting us with the responsibility and opportunity to host this seminar. The event turned out to be a resounding success, thanks to the tireless, collaborative efforts of the District Events Team and the dedicated volunteers of the Rotary Club of Pune Heritage. It was indeed a rewarding experience for all involved.

Behind-the-Curtain: Seminar Arrangements by the Host Club

To ensure smooth execution, the host club organized several focused teams, each responsible for a specific area of the seminar. This structured approach may serve as a useful reference for other Rotary clubs planning similar events.

Team 1: A team of 4 Rotarians was assigned the task of contacting all Presidents-Elect to ensure maximum attendance at the seminar.

Team 2: A 3-member team took charge of overseeing all arrangements related to the venue and menu, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Team 3: A 2-member team coordinated logistics with the District Project Team. The district team was consistently supportive, offering timely guidance and assistance.

Team 4: An 8-member team managed registrations at the venue, ensuring efficient distribution of name badges and smooth handling of spot registrations.

Key Highlights and Takeaways of the Event

We were privileged to have renowned speakers share their valuable insights and expertise on Global and CSR grant management.

The seminar fostered meaningful connections among attendees, paving the way for future partnerships and collaboration.

Participants gained a deeper understanding of grant planning, the process of finding international partners, grant writing, implementation, and reporting processes.
