International Connection USA - Select USA - Webinar

Rotary Club Pune Phoenix, Rotary Club of Nigdi Pune along with  the District International Services Avenue took lead in organizing a unique and useful web meeting Called “Select USA”, on 12th march 2025. The Officers from US Consulate interacted with over 50 Rotarians- Business-owners and CEO’s. The program was an eye-opener for many, as a lot of  preconceived notions about doing business in US were dispelled by the Embassy staff. They explained various facets of doing business in USA, opportunities, US Govt. programs, incentives, last but not the least, the free services offered by US Consulate for helping and assisting Indian businessmen to succeed in USA.

Rtn Shantanu Khurjekar,Vice President of RCP Phoenix called the meeting to order, While Rtn. Shubhangi Mulay, member of RCP Phoenix introduced the concept behind the Webinar. MOC of this webinar was Rtn.Nitin Mulay.

Mr Joe Yang, Principal Commercial Officer US Consulate General, delivered the key note address.

Mrunal Patil, Director of Earthcare Equipment Pvt Ltd and Annet Apoorv Mulay from Mulay Polymers PVT Ltd shared their success stories of incorporating in US and the role played by Select USA in their success stories.Also shared their experiences of last year's Select USA summit.

Q & A session was conducted by Rtn. Ravi Rajapurkar. Dist. International Service team member, Rtn Prasad Sovani, gave an excellent concluding summary.

The Program ended with a vote of thanks by Rtn. Suhas Dhamale, President of RC Nigdi Pune.

The webinar was appreciated by the 53 participants as it explained the huge opportunities in USA, and also highlighted the Flagship yearly event – “Select USA Investment Summit” at National Harbor, Maryland from May 11 - 14, 2025 to establish new connections and explore business opportunities through investing in the United States. At the Summit all US States Trade representatives & US businessmen converge. This provides a wonderful single window opportunity to Indian businessmen.
