Dear Rotarians,
It is an honor and privilege to serve as Assistant Governor for Zone 1, Region 5, for RY 2025-26 guiding the vibrant clubs namely RC Panvel Central, RC Panvel Industrial Town, RC Panvel Sunrise and RC Panvel City.
Each of these clubs is a wonderful blend of senior, experienced Rotarians and young, enthusiastic & dynamic members together creating a strong foundation for impactful service.
I feel privileged to be a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Panvel Elite, which this year proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary – a decade of dedicated service, fellowship, and impactful projects. Being part of this vibrant journey is truly a source of pride and inspiration.
I am deeply grateful to District Governor Rtn. Santosh Marathe and DLF PDG Rtn. Dr. Anil Parmar for reposing their trust in me and finding me capable of taking up this responsibility.
As Assistant Governor, my role is to act as a bridge between the District and the clubs, offering guidance, motivation, and support so that Rotary’s goals are effectively implemented. Just as a paediatrician carefully nurtures and looks after children, ensuring their healthy growth, I see my role as nurturing the clubs under my care – helping them grow stronger, healthier, and more impactful in their service journey.
As we all know that learning is a continuous process I consider myself extremely lucky to be guided by none other than EPNC PDG Dr Girish Gune sir who keeps sharing his immense knowledge and expertise about Rotary Knowledge while taking lessons in RLI part 1&2.
I am extremely proud that all four Presidents are doing exceptionally well, creating a lasting impact on society through diverse and meaningful community service projects.
Their dedication, creativity, and commitment are truly commendable, and I feel fortunate to work alongside such inspiring leaders.
As Rotarians, our shared vision is to increase our impact in society, expand our reach by developing new models of engagement to attract diverse members, enhance participation and fellowship, and continuously adapt to the changing needs of our communities. By doing so, we ensure Rotary remains vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready.
To me, ROTARY beautifully stands for:

O – Offering service
T – Transforming lives
A – Adding value
R – Radiating goodwill
Y – Yearning for peace
And in all that we do, the spirit of Rotary unites us with one purpose:
“To Unite for Good” — like many streams joining to form a mighty river, our collective strength creates ripples of lasting change.
With teamwork, dedication, and “Service Above Self,” I am confident our clubs will continue to scale new heights.
