Project from RCP Baner Back

The month of October, the Club Charter month, brought cheer. A  global grant sanction letter from the RI added sparkle. A roll out of events at RCP Baner as follows - 

 01/10/2025 -  A club member, Rtn. Surhuda Kulkarni, attended a meeting at the Rotary Melbourne. As per the RI protocol, she exchanged the RCPB Club flag with the President of Rotary Melbourne in Australia.

 09/10/2025 - Two Thalassemia checking camps were conducted by the club. The 1st camp was done in synergy with the Rotaract Club of IIEBM, at the institute premises in Wakad, in which100 students were screened. This was coordinated by Rtn. Sapna Agarwal, Director, Youth. The 2nd camp was held at ITI Aundh, in which 140 blood samples were screened. Project coordinated by Rtn. Vilas Shete.  

 10/10/2025 - A Club Assembly was held at the Bal Kalyan Sanstha meeting venue, in which the BOD  updated the club about their respective avenues. Also, Ann Sunita Mandhana  and Rtn. Dr. Sunita Dharmrao spoke about the importance of the festival of Karwa Chauth. 

 17/10/2025 - The Club celebrated its 14th Charter Day along with a Diwali party at the Spice Court Restaurant in Baner. President, Rtn. Priiya Karria, and other past presidents cut a cake. The club members presented enchanting skits, and dance items. 

 26/10/2025 - The club hosted a webinar on 'Introduction to Investment Banking', in synergy with the Rotaract Club of Pune Baner. A session was delivered by a young speaker, Lekisha Katiyal.

 28/10/2025 - A remarkable day for the Club, as a sanction letter from Rotary International was received by the Club Hon. Sect. Rtn. Unmesh Risbood, granting approval for Global Grant application. A GG to the tune of US $ 58,792 is granted for 50 epilepsy surgeries to be conducted at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. GG International partner Club is RC Muar. 

31/10/2025 - Club President Elect Rtn. Snehal Bhat and Rtn. Niteen Wagh attended the Pre-Pels seminar at Khandala. 

 
Also, RCP Sports city sponsored 2 epilepsy surgeries with donations of Rs. 1.25 lakhs each.
