Club is committed to serving the community through various initiatives.
Club has been consistently participating in polio eradication efforts by organizing camps on every second Wednesday of the month, contributing to the global fight against this disease.
One of the club's flagship projects is the Late Radhabai Khemchand Parmar School for Deaf Children, which was established in 1997. Today, the school provides free accommodation, food, and education to 54 students, along with hearing aids, teaching aids, and special education kits through CSR funding from various companies.
In addition to its work in education, club organizes various health camps, including medical, dental, cervical, and eye check-ups, providing free medicines and treatment to those in need. Club has also performed over 3,000 free cataract surgeries in collaboration with RJ Shankara Eye Institute, with 1,686 of these surgeries being facilitated through Global Grants.
Our environmental initiatives include collecting plastic and e-waste on the last Saturday of every month and promoting sustainability through recycling projects. Furthermore, we have constructed water tanks with a capacity of 3 lakh liters in Padghe and in Silvassa1.50 lakh liters, as well as modern toilet blocks in Palaspe, Panvel Court, and Chavan village through CSR funding.
The club's Rotary Community Center serves as a hub for various social activities, including a school for deaf children, a regular auditorium, and other community programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided free vaccinations to over 27,000 individuals in our community.
In the realm of education, our club organizes painting competitions in multiple schools across Panvel, with over 20,000 students participating. These initiatives not only foster creativity but also promote education and community engagement.
