Aura of Champions

On 19th July 2025, the *Rotaract Club of Aundh, Pune Metro and GSMCOE*, in collaboration with *Able Aura*, proudly hosted the *Aura of Champions* at *Impetus Sporting, Wakad*. This unique *DEI initiative* served as a beautiful platform to celebrate inclusion through sports, where *40+ Rotaractors* came together to work closely with differently-abled children. Volunteers assisted the kids in adaptive sports such as running, jumping, catching, and ball games, ensuring every child felt encouraged and supported.

The program was thoughtfully designed to support each child’s *unique needs*, while fostering *confidence, focus, and joyful participation*. What made the event truly special was the warmth and bond Rotaractors developed with the children - going beyond roles of facilitators to become companions, cheerleaders and enablers. Parents were deeply moved by the efforts and even expressed their gratitude, highlighting the *trust, empathy, and impact* created within just a few hours of interaction.

For Rotaractors, *Aura of Champions* was more than a volunteering opportunity - it was an *immersive DEI experience* that strengthened values of empathy, patience and leadership. It offered young leaders the chance to witness firsthand how inclusivity transforms lives, while also shaping their own outlook as changemakers.

The sight of children participating with smiles, confidence and a sense of belonging was the biggest victory of the day. This event has set the foundation for future chapters of *Aura of Champions*, with the vision of creating a world where every child, regardless of ability, gets to shine as a true champion.
