Restoring Vision, Transforming Lives – an “eye” catching project of Rotary Club of Pune Heritage, Dist 3131
In a landmark initiative, Rotary Club of Pune Heritage, District 3131, has donated an Ophthalmic (Cataract) Surgical equipment to Sawkar Charitable Hospital in Satara, subsequent to the establishment of a state-of-the-art Ophthalmic OPD Center there. This integration underscores the club's commitment to delivering quality eye care to rural communities.
The project jointly valued at INR 20 lacs, includes a 2-year warranty package, ensuring the equipment's long-term sustainability. This generous contribution funded by  Mizuki Power Products Pvt. Ltd. as its CSR initiative, will benefit over 1500 individuals annually, providing free eye check-ups and subsidized Cataract removal surgeries.
A key aspect of this partnership is the hospital's agreement to conduct periodic free eye checking camps in the neighbouring villages, promoting eye care awareness and facilitating access to necessary treatments.
This impactful medical project, aptly aligned with Rotary's Economic and Community Development month, demonstrates the club's dedication to improving lives and fostering community growth.
Together, we can restore vision and transform communities!
