In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and support, the Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud, under the leadership of Chairpersons Rtn. Poornima Deo and Rtn. Vishakha Wagh, alongside RCPK President Indraneel Majgule, Hon. Secretary Rtn. Rajesh Bhate, Community Service Director Rtn. Alka Kulkarni, Rtn. PP Rtn. Ravi Kulkarni, and other dedicated members, conducted two projects aimed at donating state-of-the-art customized hearing aid gadgets to 35 children from C R Ranganathan School for the Deaf, Pune, and YMCA School for the Deaf, Pune. This noble effort, undertaken on the 26th of March 2024, was made possible through the generous contributions of Elkay Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Infracloud P. Ltd, and Rotary International, amounting to a total of Rs. 25,10,000/-.

For the children receiving these devices, the gift of hearing represents an invaluable opportunity to connect with the world around them. Through expert training provided by Sonava, both the children and their caregivers will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use and maintain these devices for the next three years.
