Project: *Printing of GK and Life Lessons Booklets for the blind in Braille* (RY 2025-26)
On the occasion of Children's Day (14-Nov-2025), 2-sets of books on life-lessons (Braille-printed) were released and handed over to Ms Sakina Bedi, spokesperson, NFBM (National Federation of the Blind Maharashtra) by President Lekha Nair at RCPC Office at Yogi Park.
2 Sets of Booklets for Children & Adults were covered under Project *Chetna* : 6 Booklets & Project *Pehchan*: 6 Booklets)
Author: Wing Commander D P Sabharwal, Veteran who is also a Rotarian at Bangalore.
The Booklets were transcripted from English into Braille at *National Federation of Blind Maharashtra* Publishing Centre, Alandi at behest of Rtn. Air Commodore Pankaj Mehrotra of RCPC.
The programme was held in the RCPC office at Yogi Park, Koregaon Park.

Mrs Sakina Bedi explained the process of conversion of Vernacular language script into Braille at Alandi facility.
The project elicited a positive response and Rtn. Anil Bora, Rtn. Sharad Kumar with R'Ann Abha Jha, Rtn. Jeevan Mhaldhar & R'Ann Archana Biyani promised to support the effort by committing purchase of additional booklets in Braille in near future.
The function ended with a vote of thanks by Rtn. Pankaj Mehrotra.
