Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Initiatives
Rotary Year 2025–26
District 3131
Introduction
During Rotary Year 2025–26, Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Avenue, a series of impactful initiatives were conceptualized and implemented to strengthen Rotary’s commitment to peace and conflict resolution.
While Rotary Clubs actively contribute across all other six focus areas, this year special emphasis was placed on increasing synergy and structured participation of clubs in the “Peace” focus area. A core guiding principle throughout all initiatives was the belief that the seeds of “Peace” must be sown early in the younger generation.
Awareness and Outreach
The proposed initiatives were first presented at the District Learning Assembly, where they were shared with club leaders and members. Subsequently, the initiatives were further promoted during Zonal Meetings, ensuring wider awareness and engagement across the district.
The Rotary Club of Poona North took proactive leadership in coordinating these initiatives and initiating dialogue among clubs. The response was highly encouraging, resulting in collaborative participation from the following clubs:
RCP North, RC Nigdi, RCP SportsCity, RCP Hillside, RCP Pashan, RCP West, RC Baramati,           RC Daund, RC Kharghar Midtown, RCP Bavdhan Elite, RCP Deccan Gymkhana, RCP Heritage, RCP Kothrud, RCP Parvati, RCP Pride, RCP Sahawas, RCP South, RCP University, RCP Wisdom, RC Panvel Mahanagar, RC Purandar, RC Supe Pargana, RCP Fortune, RCP Karvenagar, RCP Koregaon Park, and RCP Uptown.
