Club Information :-

Rotary Club of Chakan is 39 years old club.

Projects done are  as follows:-

Ambulance donated to Chakan Blood Bank

One of the  club members Blood Bank named  Chakan Blood Bank  gave 1500 needy patients blood at half cost through our Rotary District intiative. Yearly Blood Donation camp is conducted in Chakan town and Chakan MIDC. Regular Hemoglobin checkup camps are conducted in MIDC companies. Haemoglobin camp is conducted at  many schools. Tree plantation is carried out every year.

R O plant is installed at ZP school at Chakan.

Construction of Toilet Blocks in schools is done with the  help of NGO. Health lectures had been arranged.

Global Grant Synergy project - Ambulance Donation, Plasma and Platlet apheresis machine to Blood Bank at Manchar. Project title - Pranpad (प्राणपद)

Literacy project -

Career guidance programme is conducted for 12th std students. School bags and happy school kits distribution  in  schools.

Cervical cancer vaccines given  in Chakan school for around 400 girls.

Rally carried out  for prevention of pollution in ganpati festival.

Upgradation of crematorium in Chakan is done.

Constructed a Borewell and water tank in Rohkal Village,Thakar Wasti in 1992.

Rotary Club of Chakan had conducted Samudayik Vivah sohala for 3 years as 1992,93,94.

Signature project: Rotary Club of Chakan is conducting  Sheth Dhanrajji Sankala Vyakhyanmala since  last 36 years.
