Dear fellow Rotarians we are very much glad to release the 12th issue of GML which is the last Issue of the Rotary year 24 - 25.
Ofcourse we are planning to release the Award Special GML Issue.
Today looking back on our journey of Rotary year 24 - 25, I have a mixed feeling of happiness and little bit sadness as now the year is getting over. Feeling sad as going to miss the thrill, excitement and dialogue with the team members regarding the work of GML. But feeling very happy as all the months of GML turned out to be magical. Super, duper responses from different clubs, full of enthusiasm, inspiring club projects, quite interesting club information for club corner, thought provoking DG desk, significant avenue information under the section 'From the Pavillion', unique poems under the section 'Creative Corner' all these elements increased the beauty of GML and gave me the energy to work with freshness and passion.
I would like to say a big thank you to our beloved District Governor Rtn.Shital Shah for giving me this wonderful opportunity to work as GML Editor. Also I am very much fortunate to get a lovable inspiring support from firsr lady Rtn. Ragini Shah.
Of course I am so much fortunate to get a superb, excellent mentor like Rtn.Vrinda Walimbe. Her guidance, support was just unique. Throughout the year she was always with me, she could solve many of my queries and always used to say हम है ना! This helped in building my confidence and I could do my work more efficiently and was also able to enjoy the work and was able to face few challenges successfully throughout the journey. So I am very much thankful to my mentor, Guru ( forever) Rtn.Vrinda.
My another strong support was Rtn. Rushikesh Kulkarni.A thorough gentleman who is a passionate, dedicated, soft spoken, hard core Rotarian, having a tremendous tolerance. His consistent IT support, superb innovation in designing of Blog Format is quite noteworthy.
Another outstanding support I got was from Rtn.Sarita Goenka who took the entire responsibility of preparing Link of Rotary Quiz and results. A lady with full of positivity, core hard worker and always prompt in her services has always boosted my energy.
During the entire year I got a very mind blowing support from other team members also. One of the team members Rtn.Renu Bharadwaj extended her valuable support in collecting the Club Information for club corner section. Another team member Rtn. Tanuja Deshpande helped very sincerely in preparing Rotary Quiz questions. Also got a good support from Rtn.Yogesh Bhide, Rtn.Vilas Rawande while preparing Rotary Quiz Questions.
I am thankful to all the Publication Avenue teammates for their support and best wishes.
Very important thing I would like to mention is I am very much thankful to all the Presidents, PI Directors,other members of the respective Clubs, all the District Officers who sincerely gave the timely information required for GML in a very appropriate manner.
Throughout the year we were able to showcase Club Corners of more than 116 Clubs. So we as a team are very much happy as we were able to reach more than 116 Clubs. GML as in Blog Format completely paperless has reached the viewership of 10,000.
Along with the satisfaction of excellent reach our GML journey was also cheerful as many of the Rotarians were eager to include their projects in the GML and on top of that they proudly mentioned in their club meetings, the number of times their project activities were covered in GML.
So the overall journey as GML Editor was truly with the breeze of celebration giving the true fragrance of Rotary. During the journey could make friendship with many Rotarians, also was able to learn many skills.
Now it's the time to say Goodbye and Best Wishes, Bright Success to the Publication Team for RY 25 - 26.
Magical Innings of GML created magical moments which cherished our life. This is the Power of Rotary and District 3131.
