Final Editorial – A Journey of Gratitude, Commitment & Teamwork

As I pen down this final editorial as District Director – GML HOLLY for Rotary Year 2025–26, my heart is filled with immense gratitude, satisfaction, and pride. This journey has not been about one individual—it has been about teamwork, trust, commitment, and collective efforts.

At the outset, I express my sincere gratitude to DG Santosh Marathe, our District Governor, for his unconditional support, trust, encouragement, and complete freedom to work independently. His confidence in our team gave us the courage to innovate, improve, and consistently strive for excellence in delivering GML HOLLY throughout the year.

My heartfelt thanks also go to all District Club Presidents and Club Bulletin Chairpersons, whose cooperation, contributions, timely updates, and enthusiastic participation made GML HOLLY truly meaningful and representative of our vibrant district activities.

A special and emotional note of appreciation goes to my Co-Director, Priynala Karnik—my true backbone throughout this journey. Her unwavering commitment, 24/7 support, dedication, ownership, and readiness to stand beside the GML team at every stage deserve immense appreciation. From planning to execution, from coordination to problem-solving, she worked tirelessly for the success of GML HOLLY. Hats off to her exceptional contribution.

My sincere thanks to Rtn Vedang Mahajan for his remarkable support throughout the year. His creativity in designing Rotary Quiz certificates, managing application data uploads, and communicating with clubs for data collection played a vital role in ensuring smooth operations. Your consistency and support are truly appreciated.

A special appreciation to Rtn Ajay Muttakar for his outstanding work on the Rotary Quiz Competition, which received tremendous participation and response from clubs throughout the year, helping strengthen Rotary knowledge among members. His contribution towards proof-reading—a very crucial responsibility—and district event data collection was equally commendable. Thank you for your dedication and commitment.

My heartfelt thanks to Rtn Dr. Meenal Dhotre for continuously supporting the team by uploading application data and extending help whenever required. Your support and teamwork are deeply appreciated.

Special thanks to Rtn Harsha Joshi and Rtn Pooja Wadekar for their dedicated efforts in collecting club project data consistently throughout the year. Your contribution played an important role in documenting and showcasing impactful Rotary work across the district.
