A REPORT ON THE VISIT TO SRI SATHYA SAI SANJEEVANI HOSPITAL, KHARGHAR, FOR THE INAUGURATION OF GLOBAL GRANT PROJECT (GG2463403) FOR (23) CARDIAC SURGERIES AND (50) WOMEN’s ANTE-NATAL CARE, by PP RTN VIKRAM NABAR
On Monday, the 17th of March 2025, a group of 27 Downtowners joined the day trip to Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani (SSSS) Hospital at Kharghar, (Navi Mumbai) organized by RCPD’s GIFT OF LIFE team.
The purpose of this visit was to inaugurate the GLOBAL GRANT PROJECT (GG2463403) FOR (23) CARDIAC SURGERIES AND (50) WOMEN’s ANTE-NATAL CARE.
This project was initiated by PP Rtn. Yezdi Batliwala in 2023-24 during the Presidentship of IPP Rtn. Aruna Rathi.
In addition to RCPD, two Clubs from the American continent (SUNRISE-LANCASTER, and CHARLES COUNTY-LA PLATA), joined hands and contributed. Untiring very good networking done by PP Rtn. Yezdi Batliwala is quite inspiring.
It was an extremely emotional moment for all the members to meet these small children, with Dr. Srinivas summing up the most important bottom line that (although most of us present there would not be alive to see it happen), RCPD will be providing something like 80 years of life to these children.
RCPD’s GIFT OF LIFE Team and all participants came home with full contentment and peace of mind.
