Global Grant Project of RC of Pune Sports City

 Rotary Club of Pune Sports City carried out the  Global Grant Project providing Computer, Science and  Mathematics laboratory  to St.Anthony School at Solapur Bazaar Road.

This  will benefit 1500 school children .Total 30 desk tops with N Computing system and servers, Interactive TV panels for the laboratory are installed at the newly inaugurated school building.

The Science laboratory will be giving the first hand experience in experimenting .

This Global Grant was a synergy project along with R.C.P. Khadki and Duai Sud from France as an International Partner along with a Donation from a Non Rotarian Dr.Ramakrishna Rao. The teachers at St Anthony School were also trained to use the computers with all the apps and software to enrich their teaching with the latest technology.

Rtn.Brij Kumar Sethi was the primary contact and looked into execution of the project.

     Distribution of Sewing Machines

On 19th December, under the avenue of women empowerment , Rotary Club Of Pune Sports City  handed over 17 sewing machines to Homemakers from Sahajpur, Daund  area.

All the ladies were given sewing classes and training to maintain the sewing machines.

The ladies will be placing the machines in a Panchayat community hall so that the other women from the village can also take advantage of the facility. This project was lead by Rtn.Prasanna Chobe on behalf of RCPSC.
