Our long-term exchange program has seen 12 outbound students exploring countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, USA, Germany, and France. As against 12 outbound, we welcomed 8 inbound students from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and France in this year. The remaining 4 will arrive in the year 2024-25. Comprehensive orientations were conducted for both outbound and inbound students, club officers, and parents throughout June, July, and August 2023.
A significant highlight was the Blazer ceremony for our outbound students, where DG Manjoo provided guidance. The outbound students 'journey commenced in July, with the last student departing in the first week of November.
Inbound students arrived between the 3rd and 10th of August 2023, warmly received by host parents, district officers, and club officers at the airport. The inbounds attend Symbiosis College daily, with a special Hindi class organized by District RYE at Let's Talk Academy on Bhandarkar Road.
Various orientation programs and events were initiated for inbound students. Clubs, including RC Nigdi, RCP Baner, RC Poona, and RCP Kothrud, organized diverse activities such as Rakshabandhan, Ganeshaidol-making, Dandiya Nite, and a heritage walk to Shaniwar Wada & Lal Mahal.
A Diwali party, filled with rituals and puja, was held at Eco Helmet, and a festive Xmas party took place at Talegaon, featuring a delightful experience of international cuisine prepared by the inbounds.
Notably, the RYE team orchestrated three significant trips for the students: a South India trip in December's first week, a North Trip in February, and a Himalayan trip in April's end.
As we wrap up the year, the RYE team has been actively promoting the program for the next year. Seminars were organized in Pune, Camp, and Pimpri Chinchwad areas, alongside team.
