Nurturing Leadership: Rotary Club of Pune Metro's RYLA Program Leaves a Lasting Impact on Interactors Back

The Rotary Club of Pune Metro recently concluded its two-day RYLA program on January 6th and 7th, focusing on leadership skill development for Interactors. The event featured sessions designed to enhance communication skills, leadership qualities, team building, and foster curiosity in understanding science. Students from Panditrao Agashe School, Ramchandra Rathi Schools, and Mansukhbhai Kothari National School actively participated in this enriching experience.

Program Highlights:

  • Day 1 included a session on communication, negotiation, and presentation skills by Rtn. Vaidehi Jog, team-building games facilitated by Ashwini Pendse, and engaging science demonstrations and hands-on experiments led by Rupesh Labade from IUCCA.
  • Day 2 featured sessions on improving concentration and positive thoughts, a Bramhavidya session by PP Rtn. Narendra Dravid, and leadership activities conducted by Principal Varsh Kokil from MKNS.

The success of the RYLA program was attributed to the collaborative efforts of the RCPM team and volunteer support from both RCPM and the Rotaract Club of Pune Metro. The volunteers played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth organization and execution of the event, showcasing the true spirit of RCPM. The program received positive feedback from the participating students, who identified key takeaways such as time management and leadership skills modeled by the adults, as well as through interactive and hands-on sessions. Young Rotaractors proved to be exemplary mentors to the children.

Appreciation goes to President Rtn. Surekha Deshpande, PP Rtn. Madhav Tilgulkar, Rtn. Vaidehi Jog, Rtn. Pradnya Gokhale, and the entire team for their dedicated support. The occasion was graced and addressed by District Co-director Youth, Rtn. Sanjay Karawa.
