Updates From AG RTN Wardhaman Gandhi Back
Dear Rotarians,

Serving as the Assistant Governor for Zone 5 – Region 24 is both a privilege and a source of daily inspiration. Guiding five vibrant and enthusiastic clubs — RCP East, RCP Sarasbaug, RCP Laxmi Road, RCP Parvati, and RCP Synergy — has shown me what true commitment to service looks like.
Each club brings its own energy, ideas, and dedication, making this role deeply satisfying.
As the link between District leadership and these clubs, my focus has been clear: smooth communication, timely guidance, and alignment with the vision of District Governor Rtn. Santosh Marathe
Meeting the Presidents and their Boards regularly has been a rewarding experience. Their clarity, planning, and desire to grow—while staying rooted in meaningful service—speak volumes about their leadership.
I am proud to see our clubs executing projects that genuinely touch lives. These initiatives are not only creating real impact but also enhancing Rotary’s Public Image in the community.
Our clubs are steadily becoming known as reliable partners in social progress — and rightly so.
Another strong area this year has been the clubs’ commitment to Rotary Foundation Giving. Every club is moving steadily toward its goals, and I am confident that this consistent effort will translate into noteworthy contributions by year-end.
Encouraging participation in district events has also been a priority. The idea was never just to “attend” but to engage, learn, and build fellowship.
It is heartening to see our clubs now showing strong, enthusiastic presence across district platforms — a sign of growing confidence and leadership. Also, these clubs have shown keen interest in hosting district initiatives.
What inspires me the most is how beautifully each club reflects this year’s theme, UNITE FOR GOOD. Whether through service, membership growth, Foundation support, or outreach, the collective spirit of the clubs truly embodies what Rotary stands for.
As we move into the second half of the year, my commitment remains unchanged: to support, guide, and empower our club leaders so that they continue leading with purpose and pride
Together, we will carry forward DG Santosh Marathe’s vision and ensure that Zone 5, Region 24 stands tall in the district’s overall achievements.
Let us keep moving forward — united, focused, and determined. When we work together with a shared purpose, the impact we create lasts far beyond the moment.

Yours in Rotary Service,
Rtn. Wardhaman Gandhi
