The Rotary Club of Pune Gandhi Bhavan marked a historic milestone on 20th September 2025, celebrating its Silver Jubilee Parva – 25 glorious years of service. The evening, aptly named Club Charter Day Silver Jubilee Celebration, was an unforgettable blend of reflection, recognition, and rejoicing, held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the presence of distinguished dignitaries and an enthusiastic gathering of 500+ Rotarians, well-wishers, and public at large.
The Rotary program commenced with great dignity, felicitations of our Donors, NGO ‘s and special beneficiaries.
The program was also graced by Past Rotary International President Rtn. Shekhar Mehta ji as the Chief Guest, along with eminent social activist Shri Girish Prabhune and Honorable Minister Shri Muralidhar Mohol. Their words of encouragement and inspiration resonated deeply with the audience. The evening was further elevated by the august presence of RI District 3131 leaders, at least 8 Past District Governors, and several RI District Officers, reflecting the stature of the occasion.
A special highlight was the presentation of the Club’s Audio-Visual showcase, capturing 25 years of impactful service — from global grant projects and women empowerment initiatives to transformative work in all seven focus areas of Rotary. This AV resonated with pride and commitment, receiving immense appreciation from all present.
The Rotary segment was followed by a delightful entertainment program, Jyacha tyacha Vitthal, which enthralled the audience and added a cultural charm to the celebration.
The Silver Jubilee Parva was not just a celebration of the past, but a reaffirmation of Rotary’s promise to serve humanity with renewed vigor. It was truly a memorable evening where fellowship, inspiration, and service spirit shone brightly.
