It was really my immense pleasure that I got opportunity to lead one of the most vibrant District of  Rotary International ie. District 3131, for RY 2024-25. Days fly too fast but they gave long lasting satisfaction. It was indeed a life time experience of being in leading role for serving the society, transforming lives and thus create magic of rotary. It wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiasm and hard work of all Change Makers of District 3131.  While passing the baton to the next leader, let us review, what we achieved in RY 2024-25.  

In Membership avenue, we focused on enhancing the happiness index, retention and ensuring that every Rotarian felt valued and connected. We also witnessed the creation of new clubs and satellite clubs, with 4 more on the horizon. In RY 24-25, we set a new trend of providing customised Rotary Membership Privilege Kit. This inspired 3 other Rotary Districts, to follow the trend.

Every single month, we broke records. Our Annual Fund contribution is $6,71,619, highest in Zone 7-South Asia. Total giving in TRF is $2,467,678 , 4^th in global ranking and we collected $1,40,000 for Endowment & $21,000 for Polio. Our approved CSR
Grants are worth Rs. 15 crores. These figures are of 2^nd  week of June and there will be still further increase, as we know, last over in the match always does wonders.

Our ‘Playing 11’ concept got tremendous success in Service Project avenue and Youth. Through this unique initiative, we had magical figures of beneficiaries in medical & non medical projects, 20% growth in Interact & Rotaract with 13 RYE inbound students, formed more than 100 RCCs  and involvement of 80% rotary clubs.  

On Public Image front, we initiated some new concepts like Marathi Sahitya Sammelan.   
Events undertaken in ‘Women in Rotary’ initiative , Diwali Pahat & Pune festival also had great success District Conference – Discon T25’ was a mind blowing and unforgettable event.

I am sure, that RY 2025-26 will also do great work in all avenues and our district would set new benchmark under the able & dynamic leadership of District Governor Rtn. Santosh Marathe.  I extend my whole hearted support to DG Santosh and wish him all the best of in his Rotary Endeavours.
