Rotary Club of Sarasbaug Donates NIV Machines to DMH Under Its CSR Initiative; Felicitates Dr. Shilpa Kalane
The Rotary Club of Sarasbaug, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has donated two Non‑Invasive Ventilation (NIV) machines worth ₹10 lakhs to Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune to support newborn babies who have difficulty breathing. These machines provide gentle respiratory support, helping tiny and sick infants breathe more safely and comfortably without the need for tubes down the throat.
In appreciation of dedicated service and compassionate care for newborns, the club has nominated Dr. Shilpa Kalane, a neonatologist at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, for the VERA — Vocational Excellence Recognition Award.
This initiative reflects the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to supporting healthcare & celebrating excellence in service.
