Palkhi Mega Medical Camp:

पंढरीची वाट चालती, भावभक्तीच्या ओढीने,
पाऊले थकली तरी, ओठ जपती नाम विठोबाचे।
टाळ मृदंगाची गूंज, दिंडीची शोभा न्यारी,
तुकाराम-ज्ञानोबांची पालखी, भक्तांवर कृपावारी।
300+ years and the tradition continues, be it rain, wind or any condition the warkari never stop , they just chant and move ahead, undefeated by the condition ,which they ignore but we cannot, determined to keep them healthy and sound and make their journey a little better for we decided to set a medical camp at Saswad a place post 33km of non stop journey from Pune via Dive ghat where the Palkhi rests for 2 days giving a place for warkaris to reenergize themselves for further journey. 
Knee pain, fever, skin rashes due to rain and cold are just a few things we know are common among them and we serve them with devotion. 80+ team of doctors, 20+ rotary family members were determined to serve as much as possible in a day as they move ahead to their next destination. Foot massages, free medicines for cold, cough and fever, basic diagnosis for dental and oral hygiene were the few services provided. We tried to serve our best and hope to do bigger and better in the coming time.
