Blood Donation Drive

The Rotary Club of Poona conducted the Annual Blood Donation drive on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Devji Jayanti on the 15th of November at the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp from 9 am to 11:40 pm.

President Gen. Amar Krishna received the VIP Guests and along with Director for Community Service Rtn. Zarir Dadachanji, ensured that the collection drive was conducted in a seamless manner through the day and late into the night.

It was a very eventful drive as more than 700 bottles of blood were collected.

RYLA Event

Rotary Club of Poona  organised the annual outdoor RYLA event at Mauli Agro Farms near Hinjevadi on 18th November under the able leadership of Rtn. Maj. Gen. Jambusarwalla.

18 girls and 2 teachers from PMET group of schools in Kondhwa were sponsored for the event. The girls got the opportunity to participate in exciting games such as archery, shooting, rope walking etc. A general knowledge quiz conducted by Spouse Chandu Manakwad and an innovative team game conducted by Rtn. Hasnain Baharainwala added to the excitement. Their fun-filled day ended with a tasty lunch.
