ANNUAL FUND REPORT – NOVEMBER 2023: Celebrating Achievements and Philanthropy Brilliance

The Rotary Foundation Seminar "Tejonidhi" illuminated the foundation month on November 25th, with esteemed Chief Guest, Adv. Vandana Chavan, Member of Parliament. The event witnessed a distinguished gathering, including Presidents, Club Foundation Directors, members from various Rotary clubs, District Officers, and generous donors of The Rotary Foundation.

Highlights of "Tejonidhi": Directors of various foundation sub-avenues shared compelling progress reports, recognizing outstanding contributions. Awards were presented to commendable donors and clubs, adding a touch of prestige to the occasion.

Strategic Brilliance Unleashed: Embarking on a journey with an ambitious goal of USD 1 million, our year unfolded with six strategic pillars:

  1. Data Mastery: Leveraging exhaustive data mining and analysis for informed decision-making.
  2. Unity Over Competition: Bringing an end to inter-club competitions for a united front.
  3. First-Time Enthusiasm: Focusing on motivating and engaging first-time donors.
  4. Non-Rotary Inclusion: Actively inspiring donations from non-Rotary contributors.
  5. Digital Drive: Promoting online donations to embrace the modern era.
  6. Information Accessibility: Providing English/Marathi e-infolets on the foundation's basics for wider understanding.

Stellar Achievements Illuminate District 3131:

  1. Achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first 100% giving District in just 40 days, spanning India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and several other global
  1. districts.
  2. Witnessed a ground-breaking 53% of online donations, setting an unprecedented record in the history of RID 3131.
  3. Secured 13% of donations from non-Rotary donors, marking a historic high for RID 3131.
  4. Recorded the highest month-on-month Annual Fund collection in the annals of RID 3131.

Fostering Growth Through Inclusivity: By adopting the "No Competition" strategy, each club embraced a personalized target, exceeding their own 5-year highest. This innovative approach spurred smaller clubs to unprecedented heights, with some surpassing the 100% target and soaring up to an astonishing 300%!
