RC Patalganga has taken a significant step forward with the initiation of the “Adult Literacy Program” at Adiwasi wadi. This dynamic and effective initiative aims to bring about social, economic, political, and cultural transformation among adults, impacting not only individuals but also their society and nation. Beyond fulfilling the right to education, literacy enhances lives by broadening capabilities, reducing poverty, increasing participation in the labor market, and positively influencing health and sustainable development. Adult education plays a crucial role in empowering individuals to understand their fundamental rights, enabling them to take corrective measures against issues such as domestic violence and child marriage. With the dedicated support of members and school teachers across various wadis, this project strives to ensure that these women receive education to read and write basic Marathi and sign their own names. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 50,000/-
