My Role & Responsibilities: As the Assistant Governor for Zone 1, my focus is to act as a bridge between the District and the Clubs, ensuring smooth administrative functioning and motivating clubs to undertake impactful service projects. This January was particularly productive as we successfully conducted the Official Club Visits (OCV) for two of our clubs, showcasing their dedication and organized growth.
Major Highlights of Zone 1: I am extremely proud of the diverse and impactful initiatives undertaken by the clubs in my zone:
* RC Mahad: The club has taken a commendable lead in environmental conservation through the "Swachh Mahad and Harit Mahad" initiative. Their commitment to a clean and green city is truly inspiring.
* RC Raigad Fort, Mahad: Focusing on sustainability, the club organized a School Banner Competition under their "No Plastic Campaign." It was a brilliant way to engage the youth and spread awareness about environmental protection.
* RC Goregaon: The club executed a very unique and distinctive Veterinary Project. By focusing on animal welfare, they introduced a fresh and much-needed perspective to our service portfolio.
Joint Zone Success – Project Cherry Blossom: One of our biggest collective achievements this period was the Cherry Blossom Project. All three clubs worked with great synergy and hard work. Through this joint effort, we successfully conducted Hb (Hemoglobin) check-ups for approximately 1,800 beneficiaries, significantly contributing to community health and wellness.
I congratulate all the Club Presidents and members for their tireless efforts in making these projects a grand success.
