Story written by Paulo Coelho, about a shepherd boy, following his dream in search of a treasure, meets many people in his journey and in the end realises that the treasure was his dream. Today looking back on our journey of Rotary year 24-25, I realise that the whole Publication team was pursuing our dream, dream seen together and pursued collectively and passionately.

The day DG Shital asked me if I will take up responsibility of being District Secretary, Publications, my first thought after accepting the post was, we want to go paperless. Fortunately, it resonated with DG’s thought process completely and the whole team took up the challenge whole heartedly. District Directory was published in blog format on the day of DG Installation and so was GML. Hrishikesh, Yogesh and Shubhangi made sure that it happens.

Today, I am so very proud of my team. GML has reached viewership of 10000 which by itself is great achievement. Shubhangi worked relentlessly in collecting data from clubs, Rotarians and district officers. She didn’t spare me also. Since I had taken responsibility of DG Desk and Rotary Quiz, she will do follow-up in a very subtle and loving way with me too. I have given her one title, which off course I am not going to share here. Hrishikesh gave all the IT and Designing support. You just have to tell him something and it is done. I call him “Alladin ka Chirag”. Sarita is another Jem in this team. Took care of designing of quiz and results. It was real pleasure working in this team. DG Shital gave us free hand and always appreciated our efforts. I really admire him for this. It is great leadership quality.

It is now time to say Sayonara and wish the Publication team for RY 25-26 All the Best and loads of success.
