NEERATHON
Rotary Club Of Pune Amanora's Signature Event NEERATHON 6.0 organized on 16.2.25 at CNS School, Amanora was a great success with 700 registrations.
This is aimed to raise awareness and funds for water conservation projects in rural areas i and around Pune.
There were 3 run categories: 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from runners of all ages including senior citizens and fitness freaks, contributing to the water cause viz: like borewell recharges, water ATM and water purification plants.
The event featured various activities, including a Zumba session, refreshments, and distribution of T-shirts, bibs, medals, trophies, certificates. Cash prizes were also awarded in each category to encourage participation and recognize outstanding performances.
The Neerathon not only promoted physical fitness but also highlighted the importance of water conservation, making it a meaningful and impactful event for the community.

On February 28, a valedictory and certificate presentation ceremony was held at QMTI, an Institute of rehabilitated paraplegic soldiers in Pune, to mark the conclusion of the Social Media and Digital Literacy Training Program for 42 disabled soldiers.
The presence of Synergy Club presidents and members graced the event.
Faculty member Rtn. Jyoutindra Zaveri shared his experiences of the program, highlighting the enthusiasm and determination of the participants.
The event was further honoured by the presence of DGN Rtn. Santosh Marathe and other dignitaries.
The soldiers performed the QMTI song during the ceremony, showcasing their gratitude and spirit.
Soldiers and Dr. Col. Vasant Ballewar, Dean of QMTI, thanked the Rotary Clubs for their unwavering support throughout the training program.
𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥
Six Female students in Pune from socially and economically backward families were struggling to pay their hostel fees. They planned to drop out and go back to their villages. They came to RCP Amanora Club for help. After thorough due diligence, club managed to partially pay their requirements, and their families will take care of the rest. For now, they can continue.
Club managed to save the day for Nita, Priya, Shivanjali, Tanishka, Vaishnavi, and Samiksha who can now continue their education. Club will closely monitor their situation and decide the next steps. Club is thankful to all its donors, supporters, and well-wishers and express endless gratitude on behalf of our beneficiaries. With the infinite blessings of mother nature,club is able to continue with our purpose.
The Mission Back to School is an initiative run by Rotary Club of Pune Amanora and Spherule Foundation to support students from weaker sections of society. Club is supporting several students to complete their primary and secondary education in multiple Indian cities.
