Rotary Club of Pune Central under their advance education program is supporting Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in number of ways and the institute is running with the help of Rotary Club of Pune Central.
ITI is mainly developing rural students for various trades like electrician, motor mechanic, electronics and motor winding machinist. But they were not having plumbing course which is need of today. Rotary Club of Pune Central decided with the help of Rtn. PP. Madhu Rathi through his trust Shri. Laxminarayn Rathi Charity Trust to equip advance plumbing lab so that ITI can start plumbing course for needy students.
This is one of the unique projects taken by the Rotary Club of Pune Central. This is perhaps the first such initiative in the district 3131 by any Rotary Club and to our best of knowledge in India. With an investment of Rs.10 Lacs, this advanced plumbing lab has state-of-the-art design done by professional suppliers who are in this trade.
"An Advanced Plumbing Lab at Mulshi Dharan Vibagy Shikshan Mandals, Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Male, Taluka, Mulshi, District- Pune under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant of Rs.10.00 Lacs from Shri Laxminarayn Rathi Charity Trust & Rotary Club of Pune Central was inaugurated by the President- RY 2024-25, Brig. PKM Raja & PP Rtn. Madhusudan Rathi on Saturday, 15th March 2025.
