Water Turns Amrit in Rural Pune

On June 18, 2025, members of the Rotary Club of Pune Amanora with dedication took a significant step towards improving rural lives by providing access to purified potable water. This initiative showcases the club's commitment to community service.
The members inaugurated Water Purification Plants (Water ATM) at Tathawade Vasti, Thakarwasti in Kendur Village, and Moranchi Chincholi. Additionally, they inaugurated a water filter at Zilla Parishad School, Khaire Nagar. Two more Water ATMs will soon be inaugurated at Vithalwadi in Jejuri and Nathachiwadi in Daund.( all in District Pune)
This project will benefit approximately 16,000-17,000 villagers and provide clean drinking water to 200 students at the school. The Rotary Club of Pune Amanora extends gratitude to KUKA INDIA PVT. LTD its CSR partner, and its CEO, Mr. Abhijeet Nehra, for funding this valuable initiative.
Notable attendees included District Governor Rtn. Shital Shah, Mr.Abhijeet Nehra ,Rtn.Vikas Swami , Rtn. J. Venkat ,Club President Rtn. Namrata Reddy, Secretary Rtn. Dimple Seth, and other esteemed members. Special appreciation was extended to Rtn. Pradip Khedekar for his significant contributions.
The club acknowledges the overwhelming cooperation from the Zilla Parishad Gram Panchayats and feels proud to have completed this impactful project. Rotary Club of Pune Amanora looks forward to undertaking more such initiatives in the future.
