Rotary Club of Pune University arranged this year's district 3131 biggest RYLA on "Inculcating Values of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in students".
The objective of this RYLA watch is to build a good value system for the students.
A total of 5466 students spread across 26 schools participated in this RYLA which was held over a period of 4 months.
In this RYLA, five different types of competitions namely Elocution, Essay Writing, Poster Making, Powada Singing and Best from Waste were held within the students from 5th to 10th Standard. The competitions were held at school level and then winners of the school level completed at zonal level and the winners of zonal level computer in a mega finale which was held on 1st February 2026 at BMCC college.
As a part of this RYLA, more than 1000 awards are distributed to students at various levels of competition. Various organisations supported this RYLA.
Rotary Club of Pune Pashan and Rotary club of Pune Pride joined these RYLA synergy partners.
Students from two blind schools also participated in this RYLA
District Governor Santosh Marathe distributed the awards to the Mega final winners. Renowned historian Dr Ajit Apte and Past District Governor Abhay Gargi were also present.
