Water ATM and Livelihood Project at Kendur Village:

On 11-April-2026, we spent a day in the village Kendur near Pune, India to ensure that the village has access to clean drinking water. We installed two water ATMs to filter water and make it available at affordable price. An INR 5/- coin (~5 cents) will generate 20 litres of clean drinking quality RO filtered fresh water. This will generate employment and maintenance of the plant, make affordable clean drinking water available to the village and ensure generation of funds for local governance.
As a part of our #revivinglivelihood project to generate local employment for women, we also supplied four sewing machines. This will be used by village ladies on sharing basis to generate funds for their livelihood. Many of these ladies have been trained and gone through tailoring course and will get the access to machines for 2 hours daily. Depending on utilization and demand we will provide more machines. #revivinglivelihood is a unique initiative of Rotary Club of Pune Amanora and Spherule Foundation to generate employment of poor and needy.
We thank our donors for supporting us and our endless gratitude to everyone who helped to reach this milestone.
