Rotary Club of Pune University successfully organised a Free Haemoglobin (Cherry Blossom), Dental and Eye Check-up Camp for the students of Trinity English Medium School on 16th February 2026.
A total of 850 students in the age group of 6 to 14 years, along with school teachers, were screened during the camp. Haemoglobin levels were assessed using a non-invasive technique under the Cherry Blossom initiative. Iron supplements were distributed to students whose haemoglobin levels were found to be below 11 g/dL.
The dental check-up was conducted in association with Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune. Students requiring further dental care will receive free treatment at the hospital.
The eye screening was carried out by post-graduate residents from Bharati Vidyapeeth Homeopathic Hospital, Pune.
The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and ensure early detection and timely intervention for school children.
