Blood Donation Drive and Blood Donors Club for Thalassemia Patients
Rotary Club of Poona in association with Gholap Blood donation centre planned a ‘Mega Blood Donation and Health Check-up Camp’ on 17th Feb on the occasion of the birthday of Hon. Shri Kalyanji Jadhav, Founder President of KJ’s Educational Institutes at Yewlewadi Campus from 10:00 a.m under their ‘Mission Blood Donors Club for Thalassemia Care’.
This mission’s vision is to provide ethical and safe blood transfusion services to thalassemia patients, with active participation from youth along with continuous education and awareness. By mid-morning a total count of 226 units was collected and still going strong. A huge line of students and willing donors were present to participate in this worthy cause.
