Empowering Women through Sports by RC Panvel Central: Rotary Central Premier League Strikes a Winning Goal! Back

The Rotary Club of Panvel Central hit a winning shot with the Women’s Central Premier League, a box cricket tournament for Anns held at the Zero Turf Ground on February 17. The league, featuring five enthusiastic teams of women and girls, brought together the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Adding to the excitement was a Mega auction, reminiscent of the IPL, held at Panvel Suruchi Hall on February 9, where teams were formed and strategies were planned. The President Elect's team, the Pote Panthers, emerged victorious after intense competition and outstanding performances from all players.

The event not only entertained the Rotary family but also drew in neighbors and spectators, who were impressed by Rotary's ability to blend entertainment with social service. Many expressed interest in joining Rotary, recognizing it as a platform for both fun and meaningful community engagement.

The success of the Central Premier League not only celebrates women's empowerment and connectivity but also highlights Rotary's role in fostering a strong community spirit. It is a testament to Rotary's ability to engage and connect with new members while enhancing its public image. Here's to Rotary, a vital part of our lives and may its impact continue to grow and be recognized by all.
