The Rotary Foundation – Doing Good in the World

The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is the charitable arm of Rotary International, dedicated to creating lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and within ourselves. Its mission is simple yet powerful: “Doing Good in the World.”
Through its focus on peacebuilding, disease prevention, clean water, education, maternal health, environment, and community development, the Foundation has transformed millions of lives worldwide.

The Annual Fund is the primary source of support for the Foundation’s programs. Contributions made to the Annual Fund are invested for three years, after which a significant portion returns to our district through the SHARE system. This fund supports both District Grants and Global Grants, enabling clubs to carry out impactful local and international projects.

For Rotarians, contributing to the Annual Fund is more than a donation—it is a commitment to service. Each contribution helps build a brighter future for communities in need and amplifies the impact of our collective efforts.

Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) encourages all members to contribute annually to the Foundation. Even a small contribution, when multiplied by thousands of Rotarians, creates a remarkable difference.

Rotary District 3131 has a strong history of supporting The Rotary Foundation. Many of our clubs actively participate in Global Grant projects, touching lives through healthcare, education, water solutions, and other humanitarian initiatives. Continued contributions from our district strengthen our ability to undertake meaningful service projects and make a global impact.
