As we turn the first page of this Rotary year, it brings me great pride and joy to present the inaugural edition of our Governor’s Monthly Letter (GML).
🎉 A Grand Beginning
The Rotary Year 2025-26 commenced on a high note with the inspiring installation of our District Governor Rtn. Santosh Marathe and First Lady Rtn. Tanuja Marathe. On behalf of the entire GML team and the district, we extend our warmest wishes to the DG, FL, and the dynamic District Leadership Team. We are confident that under their visionary guidance, District 3131 will soar to new heights of service and impact.
👏 Clubs On the Move
It’s heartening to see the energy and enthusiasm across the district as numerous Rotary clubs have successfully conducted their installations. Each ceremony reflected the spirit of leadership, continuity, and commitment to Rotary’s core values. We congratulate all newly installed Presidents, Secretaries, and their teams and wish them a meaningful and impactful year ahead.
🚀 Action Begins Early
Many clubs have already hit the ground running by initiating impactful service projects across various verticals—ranging from literacy and healthcare to environment, youth empowerment, and community development. These early efforts are a strong testament to the passion and proactive spirit of our Rotarians. Let’s continue this momentum throughout the year!
📝 New GML Initiatives
This year, we are excited to introduce fresh initiatives to make our GML more interactive and inclusive. The Rotary Quiz, aimed at increasing Rotary knowledge among members, is one such initiative. We encourage all clubs and Rotarians to actively participate in the Rotary Quiz featured in this edition and make learning fun and engaging.
🎖️ Bulletin of the Month
We are also pleased to recognize Rotary Club of Pune Wisdom as the "Bulletin of the Month" winner for July 2025. Their creative use of audio-visual storytelling and engaging content stood out. Congratulations to the team for setting a high benchmark!
