Inauguration Report – Laparoscopic Instruments Donation for Pediatric Unit.
Purpose- Will Help in Minimum Invasive Surgeries in Babies
Sassoon Hospital, Pune
The Rotary Club of Poona Airport Charitable Trust -successfully inaugurated laparoscopic instruments for neonatal & pediatric surgery at Sassoon Hospital.
The program commenced at the Dean’s office, where Mr. Kiran Patel of Alkyl Amines (CSR Partner) Chemical Limited the major donor, interacted with the Dean Dr. Eknath Pawar_ and appreciated the remarkable work carried out by the hospital.

These advanced laparoscopic instruments will significantly enhance minimally invasive surgical care for newborns and infants, ensuring better outcomes and faster recovery.
Mr. Kiran Patel also reviewed previously donated equipment's and appreciated its excellent maintenance and effective utilization.
A token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Kiran Patel by President Rtn. Anirban Das Gupta in recognition of the generous support extended by Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited.
The inauguration was then carried out at the Pediatric Department in the presence of Dr. Meenakshi Ghosle and Dr. Abhay Joglekar, along with doctors and students, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for this impactful initiative.
RCPA looks forward to continued collaboration with generous partners like Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited for many more impactful projects.
Total Cost Of The Project - 30 lacs
Beneficiary- 400-500 babies in a year
