Club Information :-

Chartered on November 1, 1988, Rotary Club of Pune East is passionate about its diversified social service projects to address the needs of the deprived and down-trodden community.

Some of its ongoing projects like Bal Anand Mela, Jyeshtha Anand Mela, Vocational Awards to Nurses, Polio Corrective Surgery Camps, Special RYLAs, Environmental projects, Sensory Garden for special children, distribution of sweater to 11000 students, Happy School /Happy Village projects, Toilet blocks in Schools & Needy Families, Happy Family Kits for poor /deprived families from rural area, have brought a positive change in the community.  Under Rotary International Global Gant Scheme, club along with other Rotary clubs in synergy have successfully completed Water conservation project at Chankhed, E-Learning Kits to more than 60 schools, Cervical cancer vaccination, N-ICU at Tarachand Hospital, Medical equipments to Wadia Hospital.

Club is doing CSR Grant projects like Happy family Kits, Cataract surgeries, Heart surgeries of small children’s, Cheery-Blossom -Health check-up in schools. Social relevance is the underlining principle behind every project.

Club has installed unique Rotract Club of Divyazep of Blind students in SP college in 2021 & is active club since last 4 years.  

Its iconic project Rotary Idol, has brought to limelight many musical and cultural talents in the district.

Jubilation in the club was at its peak when club hosted District Conference - ‘Dil Se’ in Feb 2012 during the Governorship of Rtn. Mohan Palesha & Discon 25 in Feb 2025 under leadership of DG Shital Shah from this club
