Rotary Club of Poona, in association with the Guru Nanak Medical Foundation, organized the Annual Blood Donation Camp at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp, on 5th November 2025 on the sacred occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab.
The camp commenced at 8:15 a.m. and continued with great enthusiasm and devotion past midnight. Responding to the ongoing shortage of blood in the city and appeals from several blood banks, the organizing team accommodated eight blood banks in two shifts, four from morning till 3:00 p.m. and another four thereafter till the conclusion of the camp. RC Poona's Rotaract Club - NIBM Roar also took active part, volunteered and took part in the seva.
Throughout the day, Sangat and devotees turned up in large numbers to contribute to this noble cause. Despite facing a considerable number of rejections, particularly among female donors, the total collection crossed 650 units, marking a remarkable success.
